Family owned and operated ; The Metropolitan Day School is not your typical childcare center.

Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, while exposing them to a research-based curriculum designed to foster learning at all developmental levels. We believe that learning begins at birth and continues through one's lifetime.

Our Teachers

We have carefully selected experienced staff that are qualified in childcare and who share our belief in how children learn. The staff has received training by the director on the creative curriculum, early childhood theory, and stages of child development. All teachers are also CPR and first-aid trained. We believe that a well trained staff is essential to the success of our program.

Our Nutritional Program

A balanced healthy diet is very important to every child's growing and learning. We put nutrition first when planning our breakfast, lunches, and snacks. We are a peanut-free facility and are very concious of children with allergies. We will work with parents individually to customize a healthy eating plan when needed. We are also able to accomodate vegetarian meals if necessary. We foster a family style meal concept allowing teachers and children to eat together. This creates a relaxed environment that allows children to develop good social skills and also learn good eating habits.

We are a family oriented center focused on positive relationships with our families and we are driven by our ability to deliver exceptional service. Here, your child will be submersed in a warm and nurturing home-like environment where they will be able to explore, interact, and learn. One of the main goals of our program is to provide a unique and enriching preschool experience through quality care, healthy foods, and attention to detail. Here at MDS, we strive to truly exceed the expectations of our parents. We believe that your child deserves the best and we want their memories of their early years to be filled with enriching and happy experiences!
